The all-new 2015 Mondeo hatch will be available with a TDCi diesel engine that is more fuel efficient than the Camry Hybrid^ sedan, delivering a combined fuel figure of 5.1 L/100km1 versus the Camry Hybrid’s 5.2 L/100km1.

All petrol variants will be offered standard with Ford’s latest-generation SelectShift six-speed transmission, while the TDCi models gain Ford’s PowerShift six-speed transmission.
The Mondeo with the high-output 177 kW EcoBoost engine is 30 per cent more powerful than the 135 kW 2.5-litre petrol Toyota Camry engine.
EcoBoost technology continues as a cornerstone of Ford’s product onslaught in 2015, starting with Mondeo. EcoBoost engine technology is available in the Fiesta, Focus and Falcon passenger cars, EcoSport and Ford Kuga SUV. It is core to Ford’s commitment to improve fuel efficiency across its range.
