Kia have released some rendering of their forth coming all new Cerato sedan sold as a Forte in the U.S. that will be debuted at the North American International Auto Show next week.
The new Cerato sedan will feature a more sophisticated look thanks to dynamic styling cues inspired by the Stinger fastback sport sedan and will be more sleeker look compared to the cab forward design of the current model.
With a fresh take of Kia’s trade mark “Tiger Nose”, bonnet Creases, lower more aggressive lower valance and a new dynamic head light design which combine to give the Cerato an enhanced road presence. The rear features a new features a new tail light design with the indicators removed from the tail light cluster and set them. The will be connected via a thin strip similar to the Sportage.
While the outside brings a lot of new changes it’s the interior that see”s the biggest change from the out going model, and it seems from the rendering draws a lot of inspiration again from the Stinger.
The new slimmer and more stylish dash is flanked by aeronautically inspired vents similar to the Stinger, while the centre stack has a less cluttered and cleaner look. Comprising of just a large floating screen the centre stack, aircon vents and controls. The Rendering also shows a large storage tray in front of a new look shifter, while it appears the Cerato will also pick up a better looking and more sporty 3 spoke steering wheel design.
The Cerato also looks to be picking up a new sportier steering wheel design.what looks to be a new look shifter and a large storage in front is more with a floating screen similar to the Stinger, cleaner and less cluttered design featuring con vents, what looks controls for the air con and a storage tray in front of the gear shifter. From the renderings it also looks like the Cerato will get a better looking sportier steering wheel while the outside vent are similar the to the Stinger.
So now I am eagerly awaiting the Cerato (Forte) release next week at Kia’s NAIAS press conference, scheduled January 15, 2018 at 11:35am Eastern U.S. time (January 16, 2018 at 3:35am AEDT).
